Default Advise on driving limitiations of my wrx 97, how high can I rev safely??

I have a 97 wrx version 3 has around 58000 on the clock so mileage isnt to high, ive owned it for 4 months so im quite new to the subarus. My question is what can my car handle the issue is i used to own a renault 5 gt turbo and as you all know if drive these things hard they f**k up !!!!! well to be fair even if you dont drive them hard! and end up costing a bloody fortune!!

Anyway I am still a bit paranoid about damaging my car engine turbo etc.. so I was wondering how hard the scoobies can be driven while still maintaining reliability, im not saying i want tor rag it all the time but can I drive it to 6000 -6500revs without outting the car through to much stress?

so your saying driving through the gears to 6000 revs is fine, obviously not all the time, whats the max they will rev out to 7000? without blowing?

u would hit the rev limiter if u took it too far which aint good, but to drive to 6000 rpm is fine. as long as car is regularly serviced properly!

Its no use revving it past your peak power point anyway, it actually accelerates slower from then onwards.

Around 6k, starts to drop off about 6.5k so no real point revving beyond that.
