Default Adding Ignition Timing?

I have an ECUTek PSi3 fitted and can adjust some ECU parameters, I have never really messed with but was thinking......

I am currently mapped on 97Ron only and was wondering if I added some octane booster then added 1 or 2degrees of advance(without changing anything else) would it do any harm/difference?

Obviously I would be keeping a VERY close eye on the ECU's knock correction through the PSi3.

Just never messed with this and I wouldnt make any changes to the timing without adding Octane booster anyway.

Cheers.
Pete
