Default Bit of a stupid question but.....

hiya all this might sound like bit of a stupid question but i have a MY 99 turbo 2000 classic and was jus wondering where the fuel filter is located as it looks to be in the engine bay on the right hand side is this correct or is that something compleately diffrent lol all help apreciated

Yea that's it Greg.... Passenger side inner wing by the suspension top mount. It has one pipe (fuel feed) comming from behind your dash into the filter and the one out the other side of the filter joins onto the engine at the same place as two other black pipes (fuel return & fuel tank vent pipes).

Sounds like you've found it. On the left hand suspension turret. That's the left it'd be as you look out the windscreen. Cylinder about three inches in diameter with two pipes sticking out the top.

ah ha yeah i thought it was thanks v.much so to change it am i alright jus removing the pipes and conecting to a new 1 or is there more to it than that cheers all

yup, just disconnect old unit and fit the new one, then turn engine over till it starts.

Easy as that
