Default Uprating Exhaust Bores Size - Remap?

Currently I have a 3" fully de-catted exhaust, with a 2.5" centre.

The centre and back box are really tatty now, so want a change. I obviously like the Nur Spec R, and this is a 3" system.

How much will this effect my car without getting it remapped? As I only had it done about 3 months ago, and don't fancy paying out more coin again so soon.

Can I adjust anything on my AVCR, or won't this help?

My main concern is loosing power really from changing the exhaust, but not getting it mapped!

Thanks

you won't need a remap and don't think you'll notice any difference in power. the nur spec is a good choice (sounds really well ) or the hks after burner good one. you won't have to change anything with just changing exhaust , only need remap when fitting front mount intercooler or air induction or turbo etc.

Going from a 2.5 to 3" could affect spool up due to the lack of back pressure, You may get boost spikes but I doubt that as its been mapped already for the decat,
Same as any mod a remap may eek a little more out.

Cheers guys! I know in all honesty it should get a map tweak, but would like to change more than just the exhaust for the money if you get me.

If I get any boost spikes etc, can that be adjusted on the AVCR? I've not really looked at my AVCR too much.

He's the guy to ask then, it all been done before and he'll know how to tweak the AVCR if needed.

IMHO
