You might get lucky, but it's likely to be a fool's errand to bung a secondhand piston into an engine that's suffered a failure, given the costs inherent in not sticking to the "do it right, do it once" principle, added to the fact that brand new pistons from your local Subaru dealer are very cheap (assuming non-STi).
You've also got to consider the size grade when replacing a failed one, plus the need to ensure there's no bore damage and remove any glazing if new rings are being used.
TBH if you're asking questions like this, you probably need the advice of an experienced engine builder/repairer.
