Default Subaru 1999-2000 manual

After looking at Slipstream_uk excellent thread with practically every scoob manual on earth there were a couple of comments on the ommsion of the 1999-2000 model manual.
I saw on the ken gilbert link a manual for the 1999-2000 but that was for the NA 2500 canadian model.
Does anyone know if this model manual is available or why its soo hard to obtain.

as far as I know there isn't a workshop manual for the 99/00 (spent a lot of time searching for one!) -- it was basically the same model as earlier ones, so only updates/supplements. did see/hear about one for the P1 (same year) - if I can find the link will post it

Excellent Bob - yes please - im looking for an ECU wiring diagram (i gather theres one in the diagnostics section of the manual) as ive lost power to the feed and backup and need to trace it back.
Or anything you think would help.

Ill pm you my email - thanks again

The manual exists - I ordered mine from main stealer. Wilko, if that's all you need, this will get you going. Pages 30-35 or so have an excerpt from the Subaru manual that has all the underbonnet wiring and ECU pinout stuff.

Not that this will affect your problem, but for reference, there's an error in the official Subaru service manual pinout list. Select monitor signal is listed as B136 pins 3 and 4, when it's really B136 pin 13 (which you'll see if you follow the wiring schematics).

Thanks Bob for the link to your site - Splitpin your link was invaluable after studying it for half an hour i went home and found the issue within 20 mins or so - brilliant - in the end it transpired to be a burnt track on my Power FC circuit board.

The painful story is hear No power to ECU - Surrey Scoobies

Cheers fellas

Out of interest Split Pin, how much are the manuals from the stealer?

I'm scared of ringing them for anything after previous encounters.
