I have a MY99 wagon uk turbo with a few mods (titanium exhaust, 100cell cat, filter etc - the usual)

I would like to know what type of turbo I have TD04/TD04L/H etc and would also like to know the ECU type as Im looking to change it for a STi ECU for the slightly higher boost/fuel cut limit. Im told I have the 440cc injectors which helps things along.


Im after a 2nd hand ECU and perhaps a better turbo.... Anyone got any ideas where I should start and what I should look for?

I think it is the TD04L. Your ECU should be mappable.

 

Its far cheaper to source a 2nd hand STi - or similar ECU I think!!

Does anyone know the differences power wise between the TD04 and 04L?
