Default Prodrive sports cat V Sports cat

Hi guys i am currently running a de-cat on my 03 impreza sti running ppp and simtek ecu remapped with the de-cat

now i wnat to change it to a sports cat and get it mapped to that as then i dont have to change for MOTS ect

now i have a prodrive sports cat my question is should i just fit the pd sports cat or should i go for a 100 cell miltek or ninja one?

also if i go sports cat can i then get a de-catted turbo up-pipe and then loose the 2nd cat also and pass mot?

cheers

Dont think there is a big difference in the sport cats, but you havent got a cat in your up-pipe on an STi.

Cheers

I know several ohers who only have a 3" 100 cell sportscat downpipe and the rest is de-cat, and theirs pass mot's no problem.

I've got a 3" 100 cell Japspeed to fit to my STi bugeye when I go for my remap, and that'll be my only cat in the system too .

Go ahead, you'll be fine.

Happy days!!!

cheers buddy can i just confirm then

as far as i can see there is a cat in the downpipe, then another small cat between the downpipe from the turbo and the mid pipe, the mid pipe has no cat but has a silencer and then backbox

so if i go, sports cat downpipe, to decatted centre section and then cat back will all be ok?
