my oddmeter has never worked on my sti but strangly the tripmeter works just fine.anyone got any ideas on whats happened or is it just a case of looking for a new unit?
never anoyed me as i bought the car on its overall condition and its hardly ever used but am thinking of selling it soon.

 

Is it a mechanical odometer?
If so it seems to be the small cogs that run the odometer wear out and slip therefore not rotate and register the miles ,you can repair it but it's a fecking nightmare to do.

All that said if it's an electronic i've no idea sorry

 

yes its the mech one.used to have a r5 gt turbo that did the same but a whack to the dash cured it

its the 180 kph dccd unit
