hi all what is a vf39 turbo spec and what car is it of there is so many to chose from

 

Twin scroll turbo which is only useful with twin scroll equal length headers. Common on American STIs and Spec C JDM cars from about 02 onward or therabouts if I recall correctly. Good for 350bhp'ish if you're lucky and do all the supporting work.

 

Its a single scroll turbo found on US STis.

It gives VF35 levels of performance. Prone to cracking between the wastegate and turbine body which will make it scrap eventually.

Oops that's right, it's the VF37 which is twin scroll...
