trying to find out a bit about my car

tried the search but so mnay different models,

im trying to find the standard spec of my version 1 wrx sti - it doesnt have the red top engine, is that correct?

it has HKS F-CON Fuel Management [Piggy Back] Computer, and the boost is set at 1 bar, the car pulls very well, but really unsure of the power, any ideas?

was also told on sale it has,Low Ratio RS Gearbox Supplying Higher Torque

it does seem to be very short geared, but how do i tell if that is that actual box i have?

also it has a receipt for an, Exedy Hyper Single Performance Clutch, but the biting point is very high and theres defo a bit of clutch judder, its only done 1000 odd miles since fitting, is the judder normal on these and i thought a clutch with plenty meat on it would have a lower bitintg point?

Applied model code on the VIN plate (which also has transmission code on it but you will need to look at the gearbox casing itself to found out)

Your STI is 'only' a modified wrx (nothing wrong with that though),red top didn't come in till V3 imprezas
250ps is standard bhp but with 1 bar 280ish perhaps

94 Version 1 sti will have Sti seats, strut brace, alloy intercooler, not a black one. And a limited edition plate on the suspension turret . Either 1 of 100 or 1 of 200.

 

yeah its got the strut brace, seats with the signatures embroidered in them.

what does that piggyback ecu do, does it mean the car is mappable - or just give the ecu ign and fuelling maps for the increased boost?

any feedback on that clutch?
