Hi Guys i hope that everyone is well on this wet weekend so far anyway? My GF was just going to go out and see her family in the scoob (for Reference 1996 N Turbo 2000) and immediately called me to tell me she thought that there was something wrong with the car!!! so off I popped to see what was wrong......

Symptoms: would not run sounded like a knocky bottom end maybe mis-fire stalled then would not restart after a minute or so tried to start again was firing but revs would not pick up stall again.

Sprayed coil pack wiring and denso box above air box (please excuse my dodgy description) with WD40 left for a minute and started car started but did not really want to run managed to get it to run by holding just above idle speed continued like this till up to temperature took it around the block off boost running a little rough but seemed ok got it nice and warm time for a little boost seemed to boost but no real umph stayed off boost for maybe 1/2 mile or so then tried again boost a lot better.

Any thoughts
P.S No CEL shown
car was service 3000 miles ago and only seems to do this in the damp wet weather?

Please help

Coolent Temp Sensor would cause these starting/cold running problems.

Not sure on the knocky bottom end noise though
