Default Oil flush in an EJ20?

Hi all, first post(couldn't find a newbie forum),
Is it safe to use oil flush before an oil and filter change on these engines, Classic UK turbo 2000 MY99?
It will be a high quality one such as Forte,

Thanks in advance

firstly, why do you think you need to flush your engine?

secondly, doesnt matter what quality flush it is, its all just parafin + additives.

wouldnt reccomend it on any engine, IMHO

DONT DO IT WHY POEPLE WANT TO FLUSH ENGINES THATS A SURE WAY TO OIL LEAKS AS IT WASHES ALL THE SEALS OF ANY BUILD UP OF VARNISH THAT NATURALY BUILDS UP OVER THE YEARS ON THE SEALS THATS IF THE ENGINE LASTS THAT LONG AFTER FLUSHING

Why is the Subaru engine so different for oil flushes??
My Bugeye is on 95k miles at 400 bhp and I have done a flush every other filter change from new. I have no oil leaks or rattles, yes I have seen high mileage engines flushed for the first time and turned into a bag of spanners. But if the process is done from almost new to keep all the oilways and surfaces clean the engine does not start to run on a layer of gung and works more efficiently.

As so called modern oils are designed to not to gunge up the engine and along with regular oil changes of at least 6k you should not need to flush gunge does tend to build up more on mineral oils.

I have used Mobil 1 fully syn all the time till the cambelt, oil pump and oil coioler fit when millers CFS was used. The oil cmes out nice and black after one maybe two flushes the oil I use to flush runs out clean. So a nice clean engine.

You must have serious problems if the oil comes out yellow.

Dont bother with a flush, they can do more harm then good.

Quality oil, regular changes and all will be as clean as it needs to be.

Cheers
