Default ecu query.....

Hi after having found out that i have a legacy engine in my car can anyone advise me as to how i find out whether i still have a my98 ecu or a legacy ecu, basically want to know what the codes/ numbers i should be looking for to determine what ecu that i have anyone with any ideas please.

best wat to do it m8 would be to either take a picture of the markings on your ECU and post it up here or just write them up.

That way maybe someone will be able to tell you.

ECU is in the passenger foot well under a metal pannel incase you dont already know.

no probs mate, in that case it's under the carpet to not behind the kick panel to the side lol, if you peel back the carpet you'll see the metal panel covering it, not to bad to get to.
