New Scoob! LOVE IT But need help.
Hi guys well after owning a legacy Bh5 GTB i have found a new love in subaru's
However i had to sell due to money problems...
anyway 3 cars later i now own a cracking WRX Wagon. she is standard bar uprated pump p1 splitter and rear spoilers back box etc.
Car has been really well cared for full respray in silver O.Z Wheels leather interior.
she is a 1996 jap import.
Anyway... i bought the car with a known problem.
i was told he jet washed the engine bay.....as you do....
since then car has developed a poor cold start almost 3 cylinders running and the rpm will drop and stall until warm after 2 mins or so.
Once shes warm all is well Except the car now idles high at over 1000Rpm's.
car has been compression checked and replaced coil packs plugs etc.
Any ideas? oh the "CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON TOO"
I was told.. when the car was jet washed a connector has been soaked and the problem occured straight after.
Should i try the idle control valve? but why engine light?
Cheers guys and hopefully its not too serious, he sounded genuine and was a copper so hoping its not a big fix

i make it 22=knock sensor 33=vehicle speed sensor 2 12=starter switch 44=wastegate control solenoid valve 45=pressure sensor-pressure exchange solenoid valve 21=engine coolant temperature sensor hope that helps but i would do a reset and and then check again cause some of them codes might be old ones from old faults that need to cleared
