Default Just Fitted FMIC on MY99 from Harvey

Just fitted fmic i got from Harvey as Recomended by other members on here i must say i was impressed with the service from Harvey, Next day delivery great price and as much support and advice as i wanted made fitting it myself a doddle but it took me 8hrs in all split over 2 days took my time to get a perfect job, made a few phone calls to Harvey for advice while fitting

Harvey is doing the Hybrid GT2 for a great price at the moment, very high quality part perfect fit, never had to cut innerwing and i can keep my spotlights with a little modding

also gonna try and make it to Harveys next mapping session with bob rawl its 300 miles round trip but will be worth it and will work out cheaper than my local mapper

Just to give others thinking about fitting one the confidence to do it themselves, rather than going for the sti tmic route for about the same money

Thanks guys.
Justin : If this is your first FMIC fitment I think you have done a very tidy job from the photos you sent me. For a first time, 8 hours is quick. I normally advise to leave a full weekend clear for a first time installation.

Darren and I can give all the technical support necessary to help those purchasing our intercoolers to affect an installation themselves providing they have the basic mechanical ability and a jigsaw to cut the bumper. When we install an FMIC, depending on the car and what we are doing with induction and BOV we reckon it will take us six to eight hours for a neat tidy job.
Justin can you put up some photographs to show others what you have achieved?

If a smaller number plate is required drop me an email and I will give you directions to a source.
The intercooler is already very efficient so I don't think there is any need for a smaller number plate, certainly not during the Winter months but it might have a small benefit in the Summer especially if you are doing track days.

Looks nice that , I also have a hybrid FMIC from Harvey and works great , just out of interest have they changed the design of the inter cooler core , as the end tanks look bigger /different to mine , cheers

The GT2 FMIC was launched in August and I was fortunate enough to have the first delivery of GT2 FMICs in the world. Both GT and GT2 are tube and fin but on the GT2 there are bigger end tanks and the inlet and outlet to the bottom of the intercooler end tanks are slightly longer. From a fitting point of view I think the GT2 fits a little better than the GT but as many people can tell you the GT already fitted well in the first place.
They are both quality kits and I stock both GT and GT2. In performance terms I don't think you would be able to tell any difference. In price terms the GT is £25 cheaper than the GT2 (at present) so that is the one to go for if you are on a very tight budget.

Harvey is the best place to go for the Hybrid FMIC without any doubt no contest

Harvey is a genuine enthusiast looking to help people rather than just take their cash like other sellers also he has hands on experiance of fitting

Lets not get into that. We let our prices do the talking and our feedback speaks for itself
