turbo whistle?

Default turbo whistle?

i have a annoying turbo whistle at around starts at 3krpm and goes around 4krpm the car is a 53 plate uk sti completely standard with vf35 and ppp, the car hasn't had any recent mechanical work or anything taken off, does anyone else's sound like this or is it f@@ked?

Mine sounds similar but not quite as loud as that... It gets louder if i use Shell V Power as opposed to BP Super, i also wondered if it was normal, i did make a post but no-one replied.

Fogot to mention mines a 52 WRX standard apart from a dump valve

My guess is a split, loose or worn turbo pipe. Check to see if all the pipes are located correctly and if you have time take them off to see if they are ok, some of the older pipes perish unlike the new materia,l ie silicon stuff. Might be best taking off the intercooler to see the pipes, it should only take a few minutes even for a novice mechanic,

any other suggestions? i have been out in it tonight and it didn't do it
