Default Window tint remove.

I hate window tint and almost all the cars in my price range have their rear side and rear windows tinted. Once a bought a Alfa 155 with tinted rear windows and while removing the tint sucessfully i broke both electric window motors due to the solvent i was using running down the glass into the motors.

I also ripped some of the rear window heater off when pulling the tint away so you can imagine i am shy of buying tinted cars again.

Anyone on here know a good way to get the stuff off? Do you think a place that puts tint on could remove the stuff as well as they put it on?

I use a hot air gun to soften the glue, then it should peel away quite easy

hot air gun on the outside of the glass while pulling the tint off it heats the glue up then wash window with washing up liquid
