Default Turbo install and removal help required.

I have bought a VF24 to replace my TD04 in my MY99 uk turbo. Will all the oil feeds and water pipework from my TD04 fit the VF24? I have the banjo bolt with the smaller hole from the VF24 but don't have any other pipework supplied with the VF. Have heard that it should be ok but don't want to take it apart without knowing for sure.

Thank you

Did exactly the same last week, you will be fine, the only thing you need change is the banjo bolt like you say. Also you may need a longer piece of pipe for the actuator.

Thank you for the reply, I presume everything goes on exactly how it comes off?

Pretty much. You might have to remove the little link between the water lines, but that and the oil restrictor apart, it's removal in reverse. Probably worth fitting new crush washers and gaskets, and, seeing as you didn't mention it, don't forget the remap, won't run at all right (or safe) without one.

I will be getting it mapped indeed, I also have some new gaskets on the way. Cheers for the heads up on the crush washer, I have overlooked that one. Thanks for all you help buddy.

put a jubliee clip on the oil return rubber pipe too and oil the pipe and oil return then you can wiggle / slip the turbo straight into it and then onto the uppipe without the fear of the oil return rubber pipe slipping down the oil return on the engine.
when you start it for the first time check underneath for leaking oil from oil return.
