I'm having a bleedin nightmare trying to get the rear diff replaced on my early 98 UK Turbo 2000!

I bought one from a 04 UK WRX and it needed different driveshafts.

I bought one from a 96 UK Turbo 2000 and it fits but the ratio is different.

Is there any way of finding out the ratios of the diff? I dont wanna buy a gearbox and diff together but its going that way!

i should have one from a my00 uk turbo in a couple of days, ill be able to bring it to andover and possibly get it closer to southhampton if that helps

With the luck i'm having mate it prob wont fit.

Can anybody help on how to identify what diff i need? The current one on the car has a code beginning with X on it.
