Will bolt straight up. Just what are your goals???? Although i would definitely have some ARP studs installed instead of the standard head bolts.

Is it just to have a 2.1 or are you chasing a figure that you have in mind?

 

No more than 500bhp ish but just trying to make it bullet proof.
Its funny though i was after no more than 400 a few months ago but have now achieved that.
To be honest i want something a bit special like everyone else.

 

This is the problem mate you achieve the goal and then want more. I could honestly say that a 2.1 is safe to 500BHP with the right turbo.

But i am going to suggest that you talk to Zen and Engine Tuner to discuss your requirements further mate. As we can all preach to you as to what you can do and what you can't but the above guys will help you out and assess your needs (lol).

wayne and mike, do a search for "2.1"; "stroker 2.1", etc, etc - loads of members have been there already and "engine threads" tend to run long and, as a result, there's invariably loads of helpful advice embedded within them, etc....
