Default Compression

Hi peeps,

Simple question really.
Is the turbo flat four high or low compression engine?

Cheers

As with almost all turbo - charged cars, it has a low compression ratio at 8:1 Most normally aspirated cars run 10 - 11:1
With the advance in engine design and mapping techniques ratio's are creeping up and 9 - 9.5:1 is not so unusual now on turbo cars.
