Be careful of bending the existing hard oil line to the turbo out of the way, it is possible to weaken it at the join to the block which could fail. If done properly this wouldn't be an issue but I have known them to fail so take some care in this.
The 06/07 wrx intercooler is good (better than previous wrx TMIC's) - the STi one is better but there is little in it and you would probably gain very little.

Remember Duncan the 06/07 WRX cooler has plastic end tanks, I wouldn't like to put any sort of usable boost through any cooler with plastic tanks, I have seen this type of cooler burst in the past at 1.3 bar (non-subaru)!
Also you will be looking at fitting the standard plastic under pipe to the vf43, this is set in a different place compared to the TD04, with the plastic pipe not being flexible I think you will struggle to get it on, god knows they are hard enough to fit to the TD04 in the correct position.
In my opinion an STI cooler is a must when fitting one of these turbos.
