Default PORTED HEADERS LESS ENGINE BREAKING?

someone told me you get less engine breaking if you fit ported headers, is this true?

Braking, or breaking

If you mean braking then I guess the slightly reduced back pressure will have an effect, but can't believe it's going to be very noticeable tbh.

If breaking...then it depends what other damage is done by whoever's working on your engine

lol, i should have went to school more, braking as in the peddle in the middle

Engine braking, by definition, happens when the throttle is shut and there's next to no mass flow running through it. As a result, there isn't enough flow through the exhaust side for back pressure to affect things one way or t'other.
