I've been looking at remaps and to be honest they all seem out of my price range, then I came across these, seems very reasonable?

You cannot go wrong with a map that is specifically for your car and those mods your car has on them, with those maps you show there, there is a fair bit of error if you get it wrong (and normally an expensive one at that, considerably more than just the cost of a map) so your best off with a specific map for your car (though you have not said what year/model your car is so its just a guess).

Much, if not all depends on how good the map is, you can get a generic map which would act in the same way the Prodrive remap was done when a car had a PPP upgrade from a Subaru. The issue or key point is that to get the most out of each car you will need a custom map and that is the hard part. This is a reflash where you simply overwrite the tables and values within the ecu with others, no checks maybe done. If your car has a problem after it was reflashed and then developed a fault you have a the cost of the repair which is not cheap.
A custom Remap where someone sits in the car and spends the time, and checks the fuelling and more importantly gets the most out of your unique car, this can be done from £300+, a lot of the cost is about the quality of the person doing the mapping and the platform they use, open ecu is free, while EcuTek is a large investment and has other benefits.
