tdo5 upgrade
im thinking of gtting a turbo upgrade from a tdo5 theres 2 im looking at
vf22
vf12
which one is better thanks

Well the td05 will make more power than either.

You'll get more from a front entry one, but believe even a good one will run out of puff at 350bhp.

Managed to get mytd05 front entry to 341 but i think thats it maxed,great wee turbo i paid less than £170 for it

i have a tdo5h fitted what do you mean by front entry? intercooler?

I think he means the turbo inlet pipe on a td05 is normally top entry,going into a 90 degree angle into the turbo,where as the later cars had a straight front entry pipe like on the td04,but a lot of people have the td05 converted to front entry so they dont have to change there existing pipework

i have a front entery one now but the intakes dont match up??????

You can recreate the top-entry bend with a 90deg silicone with I.D. of 58mm dia. and an ally joiner pipe with an O.D. of 58mm.
