just a thought,

i have my ecu up for sale and was wondrering about alarm/immobiliser programming. If somebody was to fit it in their car would they have problems???

To pick up Tony's point, it seems from your gallery that you have an MY00 Impreza Turbo 2000. If this is the case then you can sell the ECU on its own, it'll go into any other MY99-00 UK car and run, no reprogramming necessary.

If and when you do get to selling bits, it's the transponders in the keys (or the keys and steering lock) + the underdash immobiliser unit that need to be kept together.
