Default car cut out and wont start

I was driving steady this morning when my car just cut out.
The engine is turning over but not firing.
I got towed home and it started strate away, so i left it for five minitues but now its not starting again.
i carnt hear a pump kicking in and there is no spark.
im thinking its the crank senser but is there any way to test this.

i'm not too sure mate but i had the same problem.. would be driving about as normal and the car would cut out... i'd get it going again and then it would do it again. after a few times it wouldn't start again and i took it to thwaites in warwick and he had it sorted for me within a few hours... not too expensive either.

does that sound like what happening with yours?

Check pump wiring under rear seat.
Fuel pump relay if memory is correct is up under dash on a pillar.

hia mate
you will be the second person this week to hav this fault , mine did it and my mates last week , if it has a stigma alarm ???
right the fault is the alarm control box the contacts come loose in the module , which controls the fuel pump .
you need to hotwire the module inside or get a new alarm
1000% that is the fault took me 3 days to fix mine

good luk rich

the guy said its either the fuel pump rely or the pump its self.
the pumps only been on six months so guessin its not that.
hes told me how to test the rely but i carnt find it.

Fuel pump relays are in the main fuse box, I think, they are the green ones.

hi mate im 100% its the alarm module causing it , if you carnt do it yourself you will have to get someone to look at it .
you can test it by finding the wiring out of it , where it joins by the drivers footwell , then follow the wires down the drivers side of the car to the pump wiring under the backseat it changes colour there to , in the drivers footwell you can see where the cut into the loom for the alarm wiring .
rich

p.s you carnt disable the alarm , because it controls the fuel pump
.
which is the relay that is loose on the pcb inside the module .

ive found the fuel pump relay it was behind the fuse box under the steering wheel.
its a cilinder shape and seems fine.
when i turn the key it clicks on and when turned off it clicks again.
i took it out to test the wires for voltage and could not get a proper reading (it was up and down).
ive put direct power to the pump and its fine.
all fuses are fine and all conections are fine and clean.
carnt seem to find any wires that cut into the loom from the alarm.
