Hi all, I have a 94 wrx import and when the car is up to temp the check engine light comes on, when its cold the light is off, also I have noticed that every so often when I accelerate it feels like it misfires, does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be please.

Maybe a water temp sensor malfunction?

You can manually check the codes

You wouldnt get the miss fire if it was that.....could be over boosting.....maf sensor or something!! best to check the code!!

 

thats exactly whats wrong with mine its like a little hesitation cough wen u blip the throttle also check light on wen warm and thats wen its stationery i think its my maf probably due to gettin dust in wen ive been sanding down my car as had the bonnet up and indunction kit of aswell let me no though mate by pm if u find out wat it is if i forget to check this

My 97 import does a similar thing to that but does it when it's still cold, feels like unwanted pressure build up until it's warmed up and had a good belch/fart.
