Climate Control
I have climate control in my wrx sti.
Up until a yesterday I go out in the morning and start my car stick the heater to 30 and speed on auto. It wouldnt normally start blowing until the engine had warmed up.
Now its starting to blow as soon as I turn it on.
Is this just because of the cold weather we are having ?
Only started using the car again yesterday which was when the problem started as it has been laid up for a couple of weeks whilst I was working away.
Anyone got any suggestions?
Is there something that controls when the blowers should start or is just because the air in th engine bay is warmer than that inside the car so it blows straight away?
Cheers
Shaun

Climate ensures (or tries to) keep your cabin temp at whatever you set it at, so if you set it at 30 deg it will try to get it to 30 deg and as its 0 deg it will try from cold

if you set the selector to window only then the fan will kick in striahgt away. if you set the selector to any other setting then there will be a delay before the fan kicks into full speed.
