Replacing LED lights in P1 style rear spoiler
I have got an aftermarket P1 style rear spoiler with the brake light at the base of it on top of the boot lid.
I need to replace some of the LED lights in the brake light panel. Below the light is a removeable panel but it appears that I am going to have to take the spoiler off to take this panel out. Am I right to assume this or will this panel unclip without taking the spoiler off?
Any advice much appreciated ... Thanks.

Yes, you will have to remove the spoiler, at least six bolts, three at either side of the bootlid, two of which are under the rubber bump-stops.
There MAY be more screws too, so go carefully, try to find them ALL before removing the last two bolts, you don't want it hanging on one screw
Then the brakelight base is held in by three screws. At least it is on a real one. SOME replicas moulded the base as part of the spoiler and fitted the brakelight with two long screws from the front of it, so check before removing spoiler.
Replacing the LEDs is not easy. A bloke on here was doing it, before Christmas, his first lot of LEDs blew, he's now trying again with 12V LEDs off e-bay. Even then, you aren't sure they will match colour or output wise, unless you do the whole lot.
