Default my oil cooler being made

a good friend of mine from ah fabrications in hereford agreed to knock me up a top notch oil cooler for my p1. after my last car that had a mocal one split im not really a fan of the cheaper ones.
anyway these guys make some really trick one off stuff for people like williams, prodrive, mclearen etc etc, so its fair to say they know there onions

1-core selected.

2- then end tanks welded on

3- bit of subtle mesh put on with the company logo, cheapo oil cooler gives u a size idea

4- rubber mounts fitted to car

5- tabs welded on

6- presure tested to 130 psi and then fitted

7- job done

all in all well chuffed. and i can get more- check the group buy section

Nice work, a little bit big, which is not always the best route imo. Make sure you have a thermo plate installed if not already as this will be over efficient on the road, also compensate the sump for the oil in the cooler.

yeah forgot to mention that will be using a thermostatic sandwich plate- always keeps a constant temp. rather have it to big than not enough, should be future proof

Looking good

Just wondered how deep it it, as it may get in the way if you fit a Front Mount?
