hey folks

yesterday someone gave me a slight rear end shunt and has damanged my o/s rear section.

ive finally got a hire car but the company is not picking the car till tomorrow, so i thought it would be a good idea to start the car but nothing. to start with the gizzmo tach shift light will do its sequence then.

1. the car wont start
2. the defi gauges wont start there initial start up
3. and when i put the lights on to see if the battery was dead i switched to high beam and the alarm went off
4. the car will lock and open fine but i dont know whats going on.

could this be an electrical problem with me leaving no protective cover over the o/s rear light (no bulbs were smashed).

or could this be the ecu knowing that it has had an accident and will not let you start the car

any help would be greatly appreciated

have u checked all fuses and do scoobshave an enersher switch ?

 

i dont know all i know is that it was working when i drove it home yesterday and now it wont start im glad im not liable and they will have to repair it no matter the cost
