hi guys just new to this forum. i just bought my first scooby 2004 wrx 225bhp and was thinking of a remap. i just bought a pro drive sports cat and a scorpion cat back exhaust system i was thinking of putting de cat on up pipe is it worth while and would it pass mot? can anyone think of anything else i should do and does any one know approx power gains with these extras and a remap? cheers jamie

A decat uppipe is worth doing as it helps the turbo to hold boost at high rpm, my car passes the mot fine with just a prodrive sports cat.

As for other parts, a walbro fuel pump is a good move, a remap with your other parts would see you somewhere between 280 - 290 bhp.

If you want more than that then you'll be looking at bigger injectors, bigger turbo etc

yes mate get the fuel pump fitted before, you can get a walbro from £70 - £100 depending where you go, about half an hour to an hours labour at a garage
