Default blob eye running 330bhp. which oil would be recommended??

I have a 2003 which is in the garage going throught major surgery of which i hope out the other end should pop out a 330-340 bhp car but as i'm changing the turbo the oil has to be changed. I went to my local shop and picked up (recommended by the cateloge) fully sy 5w-40/5 fuchs premium oil. But after reading another tread on here about the standard wrx i was wondering if i'm doing the right thing???
Thanks

My 2003 jdm sti was running just shy of 400bhp and was always recomended:
Silkolene PRO S 5W-40 Ester Synthetic Oil ,
not sure if you can get it from Halfords I always bought from engine oil, motor oil, gear oil, car oil, motorbike oil, transmission fluid from oilman at Opie Oils top class service and usually delivered next day.

my 03 WRX is supposed to be around 330 bhp, RCM have always used Silkolene Pro R 15w 50 in mine for years.

Hi Richard

What you have is probably fine as Fuchs are very good quality and a 5w-40 is ideal. Silkolene Pro S or Motul 300V are the next step up.

Cheers

Tim
