Default advice needed on Headers, Turbo, Front Mount

I thinking to move on to my next stage mod for MY53 STi, which currently running the following:

Standard 2.0lt STi Engine
H&S SportCat Downpipe
H&S Centre Section
Ninja Backbox
ECUtek (JGM)

With Currently running 341bhp/349lbft

I would need some advice to get it on to the next stage with aim at around 400+ on the following parts which so many on the market atm I am abit all confused based on my understanding i would required the following

Headers.. Turbo... FMIC.. Injector

and place/price where I can get one from would be appreciated. hopefully its not something I have to rob the bank to get would be ideal..

thank you

Well looks like I'm one of them then..!! I got some japspeed headers for my W reg turbo and they fit like toilet doors!! as for the fitting kit, that would be 2 peices of thin tin with holes in that (supposedly) holds the two pipes together. Must have tried to make them fit twenty times, and its not that I'm useless or owt my mate who works at subaru cudn't get them to fit properly either...
Whatever i tried they just ended up blowing within a couple of days, i tried heat wrap, exhaust paste, jubilee clips even resorted to the trusty fat exhaust clamps, but still they would blow from the same joints.
As funny and as in-expensive as this may seem though i haven't mentioned this also cost me 2 turbos. From (i think) the exhaust paste inside that hadn't set going up the exhaust and hitting the back of the turbo!!!
So speaking from experience, i would say definately don't buy cheap ones off ebay like the jap speed ones they are crap (and thin stainless so sound tinny) i'd get some decent ones i.e £600 upwards and if you can afford it get proper HKS ones, they are expensive but the only option IMHO.

well mine were spot on and the fitting kit was good.
there will always be a few that get a crap batch etc..(i used to work for vi-spring making the worlds best beds costing up to 50k and even then there were some crap ones coming off the line so doesnt matter if your spending £200 or £600 someone might get a crap one.that said they are good for starting out on this tuning lark.

it might be a good idea to have a word with someone like harvey or scoobyclinic as they used to do a good deal on headers.you will be best off with the gt spec 2 ones with the 3 bolt uppipe they used to be around the £350 mark, top quality welding and they will last,i have had them on mine for years.you can use the injectors you have and get them flowed, front mount,i have an aps one on mine but they are quite pricey but the hybrid ones seem to be doing a good job for a lot of people at a good price.then the turbo, the new billet ones from scoobyclinic look like they are the ones to beet at the moment so you could try one of those.all depends on budget really but if your wanting the parts to last dont go buying cheap an nasty parts.

Nothing beats the RCM headers. Excellent fit, do not crack, and we can supply them with a discount.

Speak to Mr Jeffery above about the S206 turbo, it's doing wonders at the mo.
Alan, how much are the RCM headers? I thought they were £800!

Speak to harvey re headers

I reckon he'll possibly recommend his ported OEM ones and aftermarket uppipe as being more than suffcient for those mods/power target. He'll advise on which size uppipe will be needed too, etc...

I can supply you with RCM tubular headers headers, often referred to on here as GT2 Spec type or with ported headers and matched uppipe. There is also a special uppipe to go with the tubular headers which is already proven to greatly improve spool and response.
I also sell FMICs and particular turbos but I am happy to guide you in the direction I would go in your position subject to what you want to achieve and what aspects of the performance are important to you.
