Default boost problems on my 97 U.K

I've got a greddy B-spec2 controller and just befor crimbo it started to over boost and slowly got so bad I had to turn all the settings wright down to 0.

I've got a VF28 turbo and now I have bypass the solenoid so should only be running actuator. But it boost's upto 9psi then after 4000rpm it slowly climbs upto 12.8psi. Is that about wright? Would a boost leak make that happen?(but can not hear a leak on boost) Or do you think the boost controller has just packed up?

if it has then it wont be the controller itself but the solenoid , if u fill ur oil to the F-mark ( full ) then u get a lot of blow-by which is the excess oil from the crank case and cylinder head breathers coming back through the system and exits the turbine housing nipple as well as a lot of other places , anyway , this oil can block ur solenoid up and cause the actuatot to not get a reading basically and hence causing it to overboost , the more oil , the worse it will get , hence why it gradually got worse for u , recomend u to clean the solenoid with carb cleaner and only ever fill ur oil 3/4 full never more

my car never gets over filed and I only keep the oil half way up and yes I have cleaned the solenoid. If it's just the solenoid could I use a standard sti 3 port Boost solenoid and join the wires to match.

I may just give it a go, it's not going to hurt, I'll try and pick one up tomorrow.
