Default power srearing pump

this must be the only thing i havn't looked into.

i have a uk95 classic, i wanted to fit one of the power stearing pumps from a facelift, already have it anyways

but:

1) my car dont have a cooler like the facelift
2) the conections for the newer one look differnt.

will the hoses for the old one just bolt, & weill there be any issue with the cooler part?

this should be the last thing i need to know before rebiulding the engine
thanks in advance

the main problem was always them leaking. i solved mine by changing the tub, from a legacy. they have 2 seals. where as the imprezas have a very small seal

sorry, its what i call tub. the tank, that holds the power stearing fluid.
the legacy one is slightly bigger, but has 2 seals.

my pump after changing the tank is perfect, but instead of the tank being small, its larger with 4 bolts to the top.

i'll just sell the unit once changed.
i know lots of the older pumps fail
