blow off valve for my blob eye?

hey guy's, just recieved my new bov from America so i took off my bailey dump valve and put this on (straight swap) took it out for a quick spin and nothing? No noise at all? Help!

its basically just a noisy wastegate. But not sure if it needs time to pressure up?
