Default Newage sti engine in classic ver3

Is it easy providing you run the right ecu like simtek or solaris. Is there a lot of custom work required?

Thanks in advance

The wiring loom from the engine to the ecu is completely different on a newage car, so you would need to fab a new wiring loom. Simple option is to use the bottom end from the newage and stick with the classic heads.

You would need someone to make you a wiring loom going from the ecu to the engine, so best speak to a competent auto electrician. Then you will need to factor in the cost of the ecu to to drive the avcs heads, so not going to be a cheap do.

The cost of the ecu I'm not worried about as I could use my simtek after sending it of to steve rally, or flog it and buy another it's the fabrication work is what worrys me as I haven't got a clue how much wiring is required. Would anyone know who carries out such work? thank you again Banny I really think scoobynet should pay you a fee for all the info lol
