Hi all hope someone is clued up when it comes to clutches as am at my end with this one, i bought a new clutch kit a few months back and have just got round to fitting them on my car, now my problem is this, when i put my foot on the clutch it just falls to the floor and will not come back up or else i lift it back up with my hand, i have tried to bleed the clutch a few times now and the process keeps repeating itself?? does anyone have any ideas what is wrong?? The only thing that i could think of was a problem with the clutch pedal somehow csn someone plz shed some light on this situation as its keeping my beloved scooby off the road and i have waited 6 months now lol

from what i can remember (when i did mine 2 years ago) is that the thrust bearing has to engage with the cover plate, when you first push the peddle you will hear quite a loud 'click' as it engages
the fork that locates on the bearing is fitted properly??

Is the correct pattern fork fitted?!
These symptoms happened to a 944 on The Garage, and the shape of the replacement fork's frongs were ever so slightly different to the genuine item - this caused the release bearing to simply dislodge to one side, causing the pedal to hit the floor, due to there obviously being no tension against the pressure plate's spring fingers.
Just a thought... cause if it is that, it would've been a bugger to suss out otherwise!
