Hi, gave the car a little throttle today and noticed steam coming out the drivers side vent and a burning smell when i popped the bonnet there was loads of water over the front left/drivers side corner behind the headlight on the air box and on the cam cover it looks like its comming from low down so could be a water hose but is the water pump on that side of the engine? if so could it be this?
It only happens when giving it some and seems to be fine/minor when driving normal![Ponder2](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/ponder2.gif)
Cheers for any help

my 98 impreza was leaking a few years ago and i couldnt see where it was coming from. had subaru look at it when i had it serviced there as it had fssh. they told me id need a new water pump, seals, etc and it would be £500. i said id leave it as bit as it wasnt too bad a leak. good job i did as it was the radiator that was cracked on the edge. it cost me £130 for a new radiator. havnt been back to subaru since.
