Question

I've recently purchased an STi3 in white, 4 door. The side-skirts and rear-quarter skirts are in black plastic. I want them colour-coded. The thing is, I've looked at other cars with coded skirts and they appear less bulky than mine, which means that they are obviously different parts. Has anyone got a car with the un-coded skirts and had them painted? Any advice/problems?

Thanks

Nick

I was at a car bodyshop recently to see about some touch ups, asked them to price in colour coding side skirts they did not seem alarmed or anything so I presume it is a pretty straight forward job, mine is also an sti 3

Getting them colour coded on the car is not a problem. It is easy to take off the side ones, but I'd recommend leaving the rear skirts on the car for painting if you can, as they are very difficult to take off & put back on.

I asked the very same question the other day while at a garage near me... they seem to think it'll cost £250 to take the skirts off, spray them and bung em back on..... not bad if you ask me

Thanks guys, I think I'll tie the job in with getting my STi4 front splitter painted and fitted.

Should look good ey?!
