Fitted a couple of new sensors yeaterday and took the car a drive with my other half.

The car was going great, a joy to have again.

We stopped in the car park of a shop and went in for a browse, came back out and the immobiliser wouldnt disarm

Managed to get a lift home as I didnt know the keypad code.

Went back later and collected the car by putting the code in on the keypad.

Got it home, replaced the batteries in the fob and linked it with the car agin. All good.

Went back to the SAME car park, SAME space, to go to the same shop today.

Came out and the immobiliser wouldnt disarm The only difference was I parked the other way round.........as I looked to the heavens while she shouted obsceneities at me I noticed the problem..................



I'll give you all half an hour to see if anyone knows the answer

 

interferance from a radio mast or poss sensors on a automatic door.

Interference from the old girl's pacemaker from behind the till at the shop?

 

a swarm of bats emitting sonar pulses on the scooby wavelength

 

Come on its been half hour!

 

the shop was double fronted the same at the back and front and had the same size carpark at the rear,you did your shopping but got confused and went out the wrong door where there was an identical scooby (which could happen) and tried your button but nothing happened causing you to think the bloody thing wont work .until an old granny with knickers around her ankles saying why are you trying to get in my car

 

God damn police mast right behind the shop.

Couldnt see it yesterday as I was facing the other way!!!

 

Yea there is a restraint near me that is quite exclusive and a lot of famous people go there in there new 4x4's Porkies Bentleys ect and the amount of top end cars that have been towed out of there is a joke. There is a massive radio coms site right next door with a massive mast and about 100 very large dishes lololololol

 

I used to have the same prob at a petrol station, never use it no more as it became a pain in the ---.

 

This is happening all over the place & to be honest a pain in the ****.Trouble is you sometimes cant see the masts.Wonder if the hatch has same problem,would never leave the RB320 in some carpark for some ****** to do whatever they like.RANT OVER LMHAO
