Default 02 ppp, performance loss

Hello, ive recently bought an sti 'ppp' which has had an unequal length manifold fitted, full blitz nur spec,de-cat down pipe and a 25g turbo and a ecutek remap. Sounds good but my 99 wrx blows it away(similar spec but vf34). The engine check light was on from when i bought it(is this normal for ecutek) and on lift off i get regular pops and flames. What is the best way to getting it checked , i come from teeside and am not sure who to take it to.

25G Turbo ?

Sounds very laggy to me on a 2.0.

There shouldnt be any check engine lights on but you need to get the codes read when you are back and that may point you in the right direction for a solution. If it is in limp mode then curing the fault will make it all right.

Get it up to Andy Kingdon, Finn or Drew - you should find them on TyneTeesScoobies :: Index - all around that area

Comes in at 4000rpm since getting the unequal length headers and new exhaust. Just found out that it had one new sensor put on before buying it but the engine light was still on. Not sure if it was the egt or 02 sensor.
