hi guys anyone know wot my boost gauge should be reading ? finally got it working took it for a run and it got up too about 1.2 bar on the gauge , car is 03 wrx and i was told that it had been remapped to 280 bhp ?(by ecutek) but had no evidence of this , so could this be right or could anything be wrong , or am i just worrying over nothing has this is my first scooby and dont want to kill it

 

1.2 is about right for this kind of tune

any body else thinks this is right . also just wondered wot the boosy gauge should read on idle etc , sorry for going on again just like to know thanks in advance

 

hi bud,having slight issue over my boost/guage at the moment but when mine was t'd in in one line it read -10 psi at idle,which ive been told is spot on.however,i changed t position to dv line and it now reads -17 at idle !!!!!.go figure lol

 

jay, yes if remapped to 280 then a minmum boost target would be 1.1 bar, so 1.2 is fine.

Mine's at 282bhp running 1.3bar, tailing off to 1.1bar. So your 1.2bar is slap bang in the middle, so fine.
