Default anyone using one of these fuel pumps?

Ive been looking into changing my fuel pump before the remap and of course its pretty much all about walbro...
but Ive recently seen this one on ebay that does look good.
Subaru Impreza STI WRX 255 LPH fuel pump - upto 585BHP on eBay (end time 08-Mar-10 13:36:40 GMT)

The seller claims its great..as you would...but..
It has a 2 year guarantee against walbro's 1 year.
Its claimed to be quieter than the walbro unit.
its 45quid delivered so almost half price of the walbro.

ive done a google search on hrc performance/hrc racing and found no bad press..in fact ive found an interesting thread concerning them
HRC fuel pumps (vs my trashed Walbro) - UK Legacy Forums

Judging by the feedback the seller has he's sold a lot to scooby owners and some must be on here....so whats the verdict?.

I've got one. Quality is good but I guess there's no real way of telling unless you did a flow test?

Agreed..but with my expected level of tune the pump will never need to flow anywhere near 255lph i guess.
I just want to replace for reliable fueling.
How long have you had yours fitted for?.is it quite as stated in the ad?

Ive had one of these side by side with a Dynapex pump and they are very similar bar 1 or 2 minor differences. Seem to be good quality in fairness with identical warranty.

correct!.
just had this reply

Hi HRC pumps are manufactured to our specification by the factory. The factory has confirmed that they have supplied to dynapex previously. HRC however are not associated with Dynapex.

I hope this helps. HRC pumps come with 2 yr guarantee and please read our feedback for reassurance.

Thanks Rob
