hi all finaly got rid of the engine check light i done exactly as i was told to do by people on here and its worked.

i looked under the steering coloum and found the green conecters, connected them turned the ignition back on wrote the light code down cross ref with www.scoobypedia.com and resolved the problem then disconnected the earth turminal off the bat left it for about an hr then re-connected it and the light went off. so no thankfuly the thing has gone off peace for now till the next problem.
