Question Dash Bulb Change 2003 STi

Hi All,
After some information with regards changing my dash, clock, centre console bulbs from the current green to blue. Its an 2003 Sti Type UK, if this makes any odds!

I've searched threads high and low to solve this, but everyone comes up with different solutions, which makes it confusing.

Can I just buy a kit from flea bay, or do I need to sand off green plastic off the clocks........

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks in advance

You'd defo have to get rid of the OEM green filter somehow. And then either put a blue filter in place instead, using white clear bulbs... Or blue-laquered/filtered bulbs with a clear diffusing filter (like tracing paper or something) to diffuse/disperse the light.

Either that or a dash with blue illumination (if one exits?!)

ive tried several types of blue led lights from different suppliers and i am yet to be satisfied with any of them , they seem to concentrate the light in one place without illuminating the whole dash evenly, i think the answer is to get some ordinary "blue bulbs" (if there is such a thing) , i am still looking for a source , will let you know if i ever find any, or maybe someone else will tell us......,

^^^ That's why you must put some form of diffusion screen 'twixt bulbs and the binnacle's etched graphics....
