Default rollin road-power run

hello i took my 02 wrx to trition motorsport the other week to put on his rollin road for a power run to see what its got.he asked me what i had done to it.so i said green replacement air filter, powerflow cat back exhaust, cat de pipe and maniflow.he asked me what bhp it had about 250ish i said.more like 242bhp i recon.so he put it on the rollin he was shocked to see it kickin out 263.5bhp.he said that the car has been mapped at some point.i didnt think it had coz i brought it off some old man.he plugged his laptop in to it to fine out.nope its not been mapped.but he did say that my injectors are runnin 91% and boostin at 1.1bar.told me to put bigger injector and a bigger fuel and a map i could push out 300 bhp.but i dont no if i should or not.can people tell me if its worth it or not
many thanks phil

Hi do you want more power? from what ive read a remap can also get the car running spot on by adjusting everything so it runs perfect and will make the car feel more responsive and you get a lot more drivin fun as long as you get it done properley ie jollygreenmonster or any other good scooby tuner hope this helps

the injectors are at 91% because the standard map is very rich on boost.

The standard turbo will only do 280bhp give or take a bit so no need to change the injectors and changing the injectors and fuel pump and a remap will not see 300bhp..
you would have to change the turbo too.

unfortunatly cannot see your graph pictures.

that is good power on standard setup.. however I suspect there is reasonable improvements to be made throughout the rev range rather thna just peak power at high rpm.. along with more torque, better throttle response and improved mpg.

I have a 03 WRX, the injectors are certainly good for 300bhp, the standard turbo isn't.

remap as is should see 275~280bhp.. maybe worth removing downpipe cat or replacing with sports cat.

change injectors and turbo should see over 300bhp

changing injectors on their own and a remap will not see 300bhp as the standard turbo cannot flow it.

standard injectors are 380cc and will do 300bhp.. but standard turbo only good for 280bhp.

Seddomyster,
Your classic has 440cc injectors standard
